How to reach
By Air
1. Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO)
Distance to Gaeta: Approximately 150 km.
Transportation Options:
Train: Take a train from the airport to Roma Termini, then transfer to a train bound for Formia-Gaeta. From Formia, take a bus or taxi to Gaeta.
Shuttle/Private Transfer: Book a direct shuttle or private transfer from the airport to Gaeta.
Rental Car: Rent a car at the airport and drive to Gaeta.

2. Naples Capodichino Airport (NAP):
Distance to Gaeta: Approximately 100 km.
Transportation Options:
Train: Take a train from the airport to Napoli Centrale, then transfer to a train bound for Formia-Gaeta. From Formia, take a bus or taxi to Gaeta.
Shuttle/Private Transfer: Book a direct shuttle or private transfer from the airport to Gaeta.
Rental Car: Rent a car at the airport and drive to Gaeta.
By Train
1. From Rome:
Take a train from Roma Termini to Formia-Gaeta station (about 1 hour). From Formia, take a bus or taxi to Gaeta (approximately 15 minutes).

2. From Naples:
Take a train from Napoli Centrale to Formia-Gaeta station (about 1 hour). From Formia, take a bus or taxi to Gaeta (approximately 15 minutes).


By Car
1. From Rome:
Take the A1 highway south towards Naples. Exit at Cassino and follow the signs to Gaeta.
2. From Naples:
Take the A1 highway north towards Rome. Exit at Cassino and follow the signs to Gaeta.

By Bus
1. From Rome:
Buses are available from Rome to Formia. From Formia, take a local bus or taxi to Gaeta.
2. From Naples:
Buses are available from Naples to Formia. From Formia, take a local bus or taxi to Gaeta.

Local Transport:
Once in Formia, regular buses and taxis are available to take you to Gaeta.

There are different options to reach the Conference venue (Angioin castle) from the Gaeta or Formia.
To be defined: A free shuttle bus service will be provided Gaeta center to the Conference Venue

Covid-19 Precautions
As of May 5th 2023, the World Health Organization (WHO) no longer constitutes Covid-19 as a global public health emergency. While Covid-19 has been on the decline, the Indoor Air 2024 conference is taking safety measures to mitigate potential health risks.
• Ventilation: The venue is a historic building featuring only natural ventilation. By choosing this period, we can ensure good air circulation by opening the windows.
Personal Safety
• Keep valuables in your hotel room or a hotel safe. When out for the day, keep essentials with you.
• Keep an eye on your belongings while on the beach.
• If you must leave items in the trunk of your vehicle, place them there prior to arriving at your destination.
• Carry travelers checks instead of large amounts of cash. Divide your money and credit cards.
• Do not leave your sliding glass door or screen open.
